2-day Summer Weekend Retreat with Thai Forest Monks and meditation masters
In personAjahn Da Nilpant, Phra Tavivat Sukhavatthano, assisted by psychologist, Michael Bresnan
The retreat is from 8 AM to 9 PM on Saturday, June 21, and from 8 AM to 9 PM on Sunday, June 22. A team of Thai monastic teachers will lead it: Ajahn Da Nilpant, and Phra Tavivat Sukhavatthano, assisted by psychologist, Michael Bresnan
This retreat is open to practitioners of all levels and offers an excellent opportunity to deepen one’s meditation practice by cultivating self-awareness for an extended period without distraction. While the retreat will be in silence, there will be Dhamma talks and question-and-answer sessions.
Our local attendees will travel from home for this retreat, although a few beds at the Center are available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis for those traveling from a distance. Out-of-town participants can request a list of nearby accommodations by contacting Michael Smith at michael.s@cfmim.org.
Lunch and dinner will be served at the center on Saturday and Sunday. A kitchen will be available for those who choose to bring their own food.

Covid Policy
While we are doing our best to follow expert guidelines for making the environment as safe as possible, the spread of the virus is ultimately beyond our control, so you should make your own determination as to whether it is appropriate for you to come.
Advance Registration is Required
Because social distancing means limiting the number of people in the meditation hall at one time, you must sign up in advance to attend. You may register weeks in advance or right before a class, but you won’t be able to register if we’ve already reached our maximum.
Face Coverings
Facemasks are not required but are recommended when social distancing is not possible. Please follow the Centers for Disease Control and Connecticut state guidelines.
Maintain Social Distancing
Attendees are asked to mindfully maintain their distance from one another while on the property.
